Good news… A training catalog is currently being drawn up, along with the introduction of training tools, in which we intend to make very deliberate and vigorous use of the possibilities offered by virtual reality.
The idea is to offer magistrates and other system users the opportunity to train in virtual environments of the metaverse type, with real-life situations in the virtual universe, for example, simulating a hearing, a trial, a crime scene investigation, etc., all supported by the new technologies now offered by the metaverse.
We are indeed very visionary in this approach, and the prototype of this system has just been set up. It is currently being tested within the consortium and, over the coming months, it will be fine-tuned, developed, extended and proposed to the various players in several jurisdictions who will volunteer to take it forward before delivering it turnkey to the European Commission. We are currently halfway through the project, and still have a year and a half ahead of us.
