Didier FAURY Honorary President of the CNCEJ and President of the CNCEJ Mediation Commission
and Claude DUVERNOY, Bâtonnier, President of the FFCM
invite us to the
Colloquium: Expertise and Mediation
organized jointly, on 6 February 2020 from 2pm to 5pm, by the National Council of Companies of Justice Experts and the French Federation of Mediation Centres at the CNCEJ, 10 rue du Débarcadère – 75017 – Paris
The two round tables, which will be attended by judges (judicial and administrative), lawyers, experts and mediators, will have the following themes:
Expertise in mediation:
When the parties to a mediation encounter a question of fact, the use of an expert is often necessary. The modalities of intervention of this expert, which are not defined by any text, will be the subject of this first debate.
The expert mediator:
Experts who wish to become mediators can, with the necessary training, enrich the offer of mediation. This second debate will deal in particular with the question of the specialisation of mediators, the training of experts and the role of experts according to the texts applicable in administrative and judicial matters.
This colloquium will be of interest to :
- experts who can see their field of intervention enlarged during amicable procedures and/or who wish to become mediators ;
- mediators who feel the need to involve an expert in their mediation.
It is the first joint event of the two associations following the partnership agreement signed in January 2019.
