Find an Expert II – Consensus Conference: Registrations are now open!
As a reminder, the tasks assigned to the work packages are as follows:
Work package 2
It focuses on the convergence of national registers of experts. It consists of 3 working groups:
- WP2 – WG1 – Definition of criteria for judicial experts, led by Verena Wirwohl,
- WP2 – WG2 – Definition of criteria for expert listing bodies, led by Rafa Orellana de Castro,
- WP2 – WG3 – Requirements for experts to be registered on the lists, led by Benoit de Clerck and Sascha Dalen Gilhuijs.
Work package 3
It is concerned with the convergence of Member States’ nomenclature of expert specialities. This will define a process for the existence and maintenance of a common nomenclature in the fields of expertise in the European Union. It is led by Jan Wannenmacher and Bertrand Ludes.
Work package 4
It is responsible for creating a demonstration IT tool for six pilot Member States (Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Italy, Poland, Romania). The aim is to interconnect the national lists and to set up a European search engine for legal experts. Further reflection is underway to ensure the sustainability of the tool and the project. It is led by Pawel Rybicki and Jean-Raymond Lemaire.

Copyright and image rights clause
By participating in the public session of the Find an Expert II project, the speakers and members of the public accept, free of charge, exclusively and for the whole world, that their image, name, first name and voice be used in photographic, sound or video form by the European Expertise and Expert Institute and by EuroExpert, within the framework of the implementation of the Find an Expert II project.
In doing so, they authorise the two associations to capture, fix, reproduce, communicate, publish, add, translate, integrate, retouch, broadcast live or deferred their image, name, first name and voice in full or in extracts, and to have these acts carried out by a third party for the needs of the project.
The European Expertise and Expert Institute and EuroExpert shall refrain from any exploitation likely to distort the image, the identity, and the words spoken by the participants.
The speakers and members of the public are informed that these acts are in particular intended to elaborate, edit, publish and/or disseminate paper or digital supports, to all public, intended to disseminate the public session as well as to restore the contributions and/or interventions of the speakers as well as, if necessary, of the members of the public.
This concession is limited to a period of 10 years.
They also authorise the sub-licensing of their image to third parties for the purposes of the project.
After the event has taken place, the speakers and members of the public whose image and words have been captured will have the possibility of requesting by e-mail that the extracts concerning them not be published after the event. This will be done by withdrawing the extracts concerned.
We would like to point out that some communication materials are accessible on the Internet and can therefore be freely copied and transmitted, even after the original publication has been deleted.
