WP2 WG2 reports on 15 November 2022 in Barcelona
The meeting was held face-to-face in Barcelona at the premises of the Associació Catalana de Perits Judicials i Forenses and simultaneously in remote mode via Teams.

As a reminder, the WG2 working group, led by Rafael Orellana de Castro, lawyer and judicial expert in Spain, is working on the definition of the standards to be respected by the bodies in charge of the directories of experts: who are they? What is their role?
The aim is to propose more or less universal standards that could be applied to the various member countries without fundamentally changing their organization.
The work of the Working Group is divided into three parts:
- Requirements for body in charge of registering judicial experts on the list
- Expected skills of the body
- Organization of the body
- Functions
- Recommendations concerning the controls on the body in charge of registering judicial experts on the list
- Controls of the body
- Controls of the decisions taken by the body
- Requirements for the lists set up by the body
- The scope of the list
- The information published by the body (in particular with respect to GDPR)
- The update of the lists
The first part will be produced by Rafael Orellana de Castro who will be the editor, Gerardo Arroyo Herranz, Guerino Ferri, Gagliardi Federica and Luc Sebbane.
The second part will be produced by Vladimir Kulil who will be the editor and Simon Berney Edwards.
The third part will be produced by Rafael Orellana de Castro as editor, Sascha Dalen Gilhuijs, Luc Sebbane and Nico Keijser.
The meeting on 8 February in Paris will allow the group to discuss and consolidate all this work. A face-to-face meeting is also planned in Rome on 14 April before the final adjustments that will lead to the report presented at the consensus conference in June 2023.
