Launch of the WP4

WP4 deals with the implementation of an IT tool. It is co-headed by Pawel Rybicki, polish judicial expert, and Jean-Raymond Lemaire, founding president.

The kick-off meeting of WP4 was held on 6 November 2022 via Teams and brought together the members of the working group.

Extract from the minutes

The objectives were recalled and associated with the different deliverables to be produced:

  • General and technical specifications to develop an IT tool
  • Implementation of the IT tool demonstrator

The working group also has an added value / additional activities. A document should be
drawn up, containing the best practices for the implementation of a unified database on a
European scale. This is not a deliverable, but it is a necessary work because several countries do
not have expert lists presently (e.g. Italy).

Finally, a financially sustainable solution must be found to make the results sustainable over
time and applicable to all European countries.

The work of WP4 was divided into 6 tasks:

  • Task 1: IT tool end users’ requirements
  • Task 2: IT tool administrator requirements
  • Task 3: IT tool designer requirements
  • Task 4: IT tool developer requirements
  • Task 5: Creation of the IT tool demonstrator
  • Task 6: Recommendations.

The first four tasks concern the first deliverable, the fifth concerns the second deliverable and
the sixth corresponds to the added values.

The members of WP4 were asked to divide themselves between these six tasks.

The organization of the group was thus defined at the second meeting held on 15 December 2022.

The person in charge of the different tasks are :

  • Sylvain Joyeux for task 1
  • Marek Wierzbicki for task 2
  • Olivier Stiemerling for task 3
  • Yves Léon for task 4
  • Jean-Raymond Lemaire for task 6

Task 5 is subcontracted and will be put out to tender.

The first meetings of these different working groups started in January. Task 3 thus organized a team on January 13, 2023 to prepare a working method. A Task 1 meeting was held on January 18 to define the needs of the users of the database.
